That is missing the point, because if they'd responded to my original email with something like the response below, which I just wrote, I would probably have upgraded:

We also appreciate your concerns, but sometimes with the evolution of products, the pricing policy has to change for various reasons, and we have had to move to a different strategy from the one we had before.

However, as you can see, we are offering a current price which costs less than the upgrades you have paid for in the past. Please try the demo if you haven't already, and we are sure you'll agree that v.5 is worth every cent. We would love to know what you think, because we stand by our products.
