Small and lightweight are the Emotiva B1's, $229 shipped. Those use AMT tweeters and a woven fiber woofer.

Better are the Golden Ear Aeon 2's, $800 shipped. Designed by industry legend Sandy Gross, those also use AMT's and a unique woofer with phase plugs. Midrange clarity is better than most as the crossovers are set higher at 4.5k hz. That takes the crossover out of the critical vocal range. They are very small but do well in the low end due to a pair of passive side radiators, no "chuffing" ports used.
