It's very annoying that the eq filter shape changes so dramatically when switching between static and dynamic eq in the upper part of the frequency spectrum. Q is much narrower with a dynamic bell filter and cramps out of shape at nyquist. Shelf q just as bad. If you sweep a dynamic filter it gets narrower and narrower the higher you get. Impossible to make a fair comparison when toggling back and forth. Static filters don't share these properties.

Other dynamic eqs don't do this. Can somebody with the technical wherewithal break down the filter architecture?
