I've heard Stage Echos are 'sleepers' that should be nabbed by any true tape echo junkie but haven't come across one myself. I own a Roland RE 201 and will add an RE 301 soon. There's a reason the Space Echo fetches such a handsome price these days-they are the psychedelic sound of dub to which you are referring.
