I've done an exhaustive review of Xpand right here on gearslutz if anyone is interested. For $1 it's beyond a no brainer.. It's not the most realistic but it has plentiful good sounds that don't use any cpu (it literally uses that little on an i7, that even on a macbook pro, the cpu meter doesn't move LOL).

I think it's worth about $99 personally, even today, cause of the way you can layer and arp stuff to make sensational pads.
