Steinberg Steinberg Wavelab Elements 9.5

Hi Everyone, I just recently bought Wavelab Elements 9.5 from their online retailer asknet. I have used an earlier version of Wavelab for years with no issues. I have to say that this is the worst update of perfectly good software I have ever seen. Things that should be straight up simple to execute like opening an audio file from your documents or importing an audio file from CD are so convoluted that I am in utter disbelief. I have tried to activate an account so that I could discuss these issues with Steinberg with the account password and username they sent but their site says these credentials are not valid. You can't send them an email unless you have an account! I tried to create an account so that I could access their forum and talk to other users but the site goes round and round saying that I must agree to the privacy policy while providing no link to said policy or a block to agree to it. Every function I try to access in this program has some obscure menu which you must find and activate before you can use the feature. Just getting audio out of my headphones was a "process". I would not recommend this program to anyone.
