I have a pair of Presonus E5,s in my room.but I record away from home. I had a set of Alesis 320 usb monitors for tracking. they were ok. I was at Guitar Center this set was playing.they sounded nice for such a small set.more bass than the Alesis and a nice sweet spot. for $69.00 on sale.I took a chance. they do a decent job.they sound balanced and good bass for a 3 inch woofer.they sound clear.they will pop if you turn them up to loud. I have good results with the volume set between half and no higher than the 2 oclock position. decent volume not earth shacking but clean.the the wave guide does a great with the imaging at this price point.I am impressed are they the best studio monitors no but if you learn them they could do in a pinch. I am very happy with my Presonus Eris E5,s which I leave at home to mix with.but I am glad I have these to travel with.
