Slate Digital VTC (Virtual Tube Collection)

VTC is a plugin for the Virtual mixer rack system from slate digital. There are three different modules called London, New York and Hollywood. The London module was the reason that I got this modules for $49 on sale. It gives body to a mix in a very nice way. The other modules have a more pronounced distortion that is harder to use. In the VMR there is a free plugin called revival, London is the same vibe but more.
Cons. Slate Digital can't program VST plug ins properly. They give a **** about the programmers guideline about how GUI should response to mouse events, in particular this makes hardware controllers to not operate in VST hosts like Cubase. (Steinberg makes cubase, and they own VST protocol and write the specifications.) Pointing this out for Slates support respond in a friendly "get lost". So they get a very low score for their technical skills and big zero for customer support. However everything is not about VST and cubase, in other daws it might be flawless and it has some sonic expression that are useful.
