Peavey Electronics Blues Classic

5 5 out of 5, based on 1 Review

A very rare, euphoric, all-tube, blissful animal. 1x15" speaker. Crystal clear tone, which can turn to a thundering beastly roar/growl.

The DOD250 preamp is a nice pair to make that 15 incher break-up at lower volumes.

Will benefit with different placements, tilted, raised, etc.

Seldom seen, and relatively unknown. This beautiful creature may not stand out very much to those who frequently see Fender DeVilles gracing the stage, however, this monster is taller. - It will also produce angrier tones.

The Peavey Blues Classic sounds relatively different, a very enjoyable experience.

The 1 x 15 speaker set-up really suits the cabinet. Slightly scooped, but very present, you can say it smiles a lot. The "Presence" knob will make this baby stand out.

There are several Pre - Post, knob parameters so the tone is very flexible compared to other amps. AKA A LOT OF KNOBS.

-I do not use the word euphoric lightly, but with this amp, it applies.

Tubes get hot! This has a built in fan to keep it cool, the fan sounds loud at first but don't get sad, it quickly becomes inaudible after it powers up. - its quiet for the studio!
