Lightbulb The "Remote Possibilities" Archives... A MUST READ!!!

As of late, I noticed that I'm not the only person writing new posts to old threads...

Thank you for taking the time to research the "Remote Possibilities" archives! Many topics have already been discussed. It's cool that some folks do the research before they start a new thread.

Like I've said before... We may not be the fastest moving forum on Gearslutz but, this slow moving forum DOES have helpful threads.

I must take this opportunity to thank all the folks that continue to make this forum a special place to be.

If you’re new to this forum and want to check this forum out from its commencement consider setting up you viewer to see everything from the beginning. Click on the ascending feature and you’re on your way… But, you may already know this.

If you want to view the most viewed threads click on the “views” link to the right of the “replies” link. This will stack the most read threads first…

Thanks again – You folks RAWK!

Enjoy!!

Also make sure that you have opened the Similar Threads drop down menu (below most posts) do this by clicking on the cheverons to the right hand side opposite the words "Similar Threads".. (and while you are at it close the posting rules menu)

Happy New Year all remoters!

Bumping this up for some clarity about posting on old (archival) threads.

Don't believe what some people maybe tell you about, "not posting on old threads!"

Unless the thread is closed, all threads (new & old) are fair game no, matter what that expert is insisting you should do.

True story!

Furthermore, as many already know, we now have three additional sub-forums.

If you want to get the full experience of the 'Remote Possibilities in Location Recording and Production' forum and its topics, consider subscribing to them.

Any new post in these categories will not come up on your 'New Subscribed Threads' notifications unless you subscribe to them.

IMHO, having these new sub-forums, 'All Things Technical,' 'Mobile & Location Rigs' and *****, Crew & Musician Jobs & Referrals' will prove to be a great addition to this awesome Remotester-centric forum!

I would love to do this, but those are not clickable links, at least not in Chrome on a Mac. Am I doing something wrong?

You may not be doing something wrong! Keep in mind, this thread was originally posted back in 2005. Many things have changed on GS in the passed 14 years.
