Hey guys!

I have scored some second hand gear that i want use for some singer-songwriter style recording ala GemsOnVHS but it's driving me nearly insane.

I'm trying to connect two Sennheiser ME-2 lavalier mics to a Zoom H4 but i get no sound.

First i thought I'll just buy a 3,5mm to 6,3mm adapter and I'll be fine but after doing that i still get no sound on the Zoom. It works fine with XLR mics, so I'm at loss. Is it the fact that the lavs have these threaded jacks that don't allow them to make proper contact with the unthreaded adapter? If yes, how can i get them to work?

Buy two of these (for Stereo... one if you have but one mic) and you should be golden. They plug into the XLR mic inputs on the bottom of the H4.

Sennheiser ME-2 uses plug-in power (7.5 V), so you'll need the VXLR+ adapters, and set the H4N in the menu to phantom power.
