That's great to hear Gary. RME audio interfaces have been a game changer for many who have had problems with the complexities of audio interfacing in the past. I'm glad you are enjoying the process of recording your drums with the new tools at your disposal

I don't operate in the same realm as many others here, but I wanted to share that I just purchased a MOTU M2 interface and I have been very impressed with it so far, particularly for the very low price. If you only need 2 mic channels, you may not need to spend more.

The biggest improvement for me over the Focusrite Saffire it is replacing is that the MOTU has a robust headphone amp that can drive my Senn HD650s easily. This allowed me to also sell my dedicated headphone amp.
