Mobile recording (on the go)

Does anyone know of a microphone that'll work for mobile or small spaces like in a car? I have a Rode NT1-A but it picks up too much from me holding it in my hand, too much rumble I also have a sure sm57 and will try that to see if it's any different. I was wondering about the Izotope Spire. Does anyone have experience with it or any recommendations for recording vocals in a car?

use a shockmount suspension for larger mics, check into highly directional (fig8, hypercardioid or shotgun) mics for side/rear damping or go close to the source, using a lavalier or headset: the loudest source on the capsule wins...

Cars generate plenty of LF Rumble so a LF attenuator is useful
MKH range have pads and LFA, that plus a good suspension will make capture adequate.
