stereo recording...

In the spirit of mixing something based around a pair of room mics, felt like seeing how many of you rely up stereo in your microphone placement, and how many just stereo process it up in mix...

I personally often have a stereo pair in the studio, for the drummer, or on a remote. It's a thing of mine that I just can't do without. When I see a band doing a remote, and they are only taking the directs from the console - it kinda makes me shiver to see no room mics going on...
