The signal to my computer now comes post fader. I can arrange my music with the mixer while recording now.

A friend helped me and it took some time. Gotta have great eye sight and a steady hand to manage this mod.
So far we've only modified the mono channels, but the stereo ones will be "corrected" later this spring.
Great post!

"When you say cut here". Did you remove that resistor?

"When you say cut here". Did you remove that resistor (R6143)?

The mod is Post fader, Post EQ & Post Mute? Some photos I found below and the PDF for the mod (Which I thing is for the Venice not the Venice F Series).

Does anyone have documentation for the mod for the F series AND does anyone with the desk and the mod but find the signal level too low to work with?

R6144 (This is where the Post-Fader circuit is created) seems to be missing in the photo. While R6143 is in place (This is where the Pre-Fader circuit is created).

Do we simply remove resistor and place a jumper over R6143 (The first number I would guess is the channel number). Or move the resistor from Pre to the post position? Does this affect the signal level going to the DAW?

Just wanted to chime in and say that the last VeniceF driver for OSX indeed is working on High Sierra. At first I had some problems since my Macbook Pro doesn't have built in Firewire - but I do have a OWC Thunderbolt 2 Dock which have Firewire 800. But after hours of testing it didn't want to work. The Venice simply didn't show up.

As a last resort I went to my Apple shop and bought the Apple Thunderbolt 2 -> Firewire 800 adapter, and the Venice showed up directly and all inputs were working as they should.

So probably the driver itself isn't bad. Just the installer.

Anyway. My problem was with my OWC Firewire. After I changed that all went fine.
