hey Craig, thank you very much for the time you took to "test" all the pres... very nice from you.
Now, one more question : I didn't get what exactly you meant about the Venice... they're good, the metering could be better... but, it sounds...
what? clear? clean? warm?

clear....I don't know about "warm" but for me I can definately say it's worth the money! I don't anything else comes close ...(that I've heard)

What I meant to say was i've never owned,nor have I used anything that comes the price range.
My experience is with the Mackie's, Yamaha, Soundcraft, and such.
I think it was a good call.
