It is best to use several passes of Noise Reduction software... You can try a sweep with an EQ down there, but I'd try several passes of that also. Automation is good if you have it.

I sometimes get windnoises live (tv broadcast).. eq'ing won't really solve your problems;
To get rid of the low of the wind, you have to high pass pretty high, at 200 or higher often,
which gives you a very thin sound, and even then the higher harmonics, and sometimes even the disapearing of sound (diaphragm being 'pushed in' by the wind) remain..

So in case of emergency, extreme highpass will lessen your problem, but by no means solves it..

Only real solution is a 'dead cat'.. a softie windjammer by rycote for example Rycote Microphones , or better yet: a rycote modular windshield plus 'hairy' windjammer.. Rycote - Modular Windshield System

We use both for neumann km 140's, so should fit nt5's too..
I think rode make some kind of windjammer too?

If you hope to eliminate the wind completely, try experimenting with a filter, or some heavy EQ on low frequencies. If you're lucky, the wind noises are lower than your voices.
