Sound Devices Mix Pre 6: Channels attached in PT?

New SD MixPre-6 user here. So far so good. But when I import into Pro Tools, the 3-4 channels (i.e. one mono, one stereo) I recorded on the MixPre seem to be attached permanently as subclips in the Clips window. There must be a way to detach these? I want to delete some, but not all. I'm sure I'm missing a setting either on the SD or in PT. Thanks!

You may already know this and I am not a "pro" Pro Tools user, but can't you click on the side arrow for the clip, open all the sub-clips in the clip window and just delete the ones you don't want before you pull the ones you do want onto the time line?

I don't have a Mix Pre 3 but that is how I treat my 788T files.

SD files are recorded as “ polywave” and can be easily split to individual wav files using a utility found on their site.

Well, Murphy's law or something. Before your response it didn't work. Of course now it does. Thanks! I'll delete this thread in a few minutes.

Pro Tools does this automatically as well. No need to go through the additional step.
