Too much of a good thing.

Last night I recorded the local high school's spring orchestra concert.

There were 70+ string players (no winds, brass or percussion) in the "orchestra". It was given in a smallish auditorium. The "string sound" was overwhelming. I love good string sound when you have 70+ string players it is a bit over the top. They literally took up the whole stage and the wings. BIG orchestra.

It was a good concert and the conductor got two encores and a standing ovation.

Probably my last concert recording with them since it is getting so hard to find people to help me.

FWIW

I will check with the conductor. She is very nice, hopefully she will give permission.

I am giving her the edited concert on CD this morning. I can ask her then.

Addendum: She was not in and I was told she took the day off so I will have to wait until next week. <Added 5-12-18>

Still no word from the conductor. I will let you know what she says. And if possible post some of the concert on the WWW.
