No, the 10T in Musician mode is identical to the 10M. There is, however, a lot the 10T can do the 10M can't. The 10T can record 10 simultaneous tracks in audio projects mode while the 10M is limited to 8. If you ever need to do something with a drum kit the extra two tracks are really nice. Also I find that the 10T in audio mode is a lot better for doing multiple takes in rapid succession if you don't need the effects (which aren't available in audio mode). In Musicians mode there's a little down time to create a new project for each take, which I've found can really interrupt the flow of a session. If you need to overdub later it's easy to move things that were recorded in audio projects mode into the musicians plugin. The 10T also offers M/S decoding which is really nice if you want to do M/S recording. I bought the 10M first but while I was still in my return window I decided to upgrade to the 10T for those extra capabilities, which personally I have found to be worth it. Also timecode/wordclock, while I don't utilize them currently, I like that it's there if I ever do.

If it matters at all film people use these for location work, so the resale value will probably be better since they need the time code sophistication, and gives you a broader market to sell to....They are staples in film work much like Nagras......

I was already tempted to go for the 10T, now I am sure to do it.
