Presonus Firestudio Mobile. Works fine for my needs, but I miss having multiple outs to send signals out to outboard gear and back in to the interface.

SPL crimson. Though most of you would cry at how little time I get / have gotten to use it since I got it back in December/Jan.

If you're really curious, the pres on it make me question owning the Warm Audio Pre, and the DA was a huge step up from the UsbPre 1.5. I heard some guy's mixes on a few different sources, but through the crimson DA, they sounded wayy different - like I was hearing the bones of it that got blurred together in the other DAs I heard - ie: the hifimediy which is actually a decent portable bang for the buck to use so you dont have to use onboard realtek on the lappy when on the road - (funny enough, they sounded better imperfectly blended on the other sources than through the crimson, but the difference was jaw-droppping to say the least).

I've got a RME Fireface 800. It's like 7 years old and still works despite having taken a beating or two over the years.

Digi 002r stock... I've contemplated buying a UFX or Zen but just can't bring myself to lay down the cash for what may end up providing minimal improvements. In other words, I'm quite happy with my 002r despite it's reputation.

thats funny i was looking at the twin and twin duo core.

does it have a program for sequencing or do i have to purchase protools or something like that?

im not familiar with recording software at all..

i dont even have a mixer, im going to get a soundcraft mfxi8, also a prophet 08.

then start looking into getting an interface for recording.

im just trying to perfect my craft which is getting pretty good, i make sampled hiphop, i was never into getting my stuff out there but now if im going to spend all this money i'd rather sell some beats to these kids that wanna rap.

Went from a Duet 2 to a Scarlett 2i2. Used the money I made back on something as nominal improvement wise as an interface and bought a Neumann.

You will have to get a DAW program to edit and sequence ect. Check out Logic Pro X for that if you have a mac. Im assuming you do, because the interfaces your looking at are thunderbolt. Its great for making beats IMO. I have the Apollo Twin, its an incredible interface. Dont waste your time with single core one though!!
