Best android apps for beat making and such?

I just got my first Android phone this past weekend. An Xperia Play. I'm curious about apps where you can make beats, DAWs, etc. What are some good ones to look into? Actually any good suggestions related to audio would be appreciated as well. I'm new to this whole app thing and want to check out the best apps available.

I'm not looking for anything to replace what I got or as a replacement for serious gear or anything like that. I just want to pimp out my phone and have some fun with it. Anything MPC like would be awesome for me.

Oh yeah, just for fun if anyone knows of just some real ill apps in general I could check out please mention. Anything from entertainment to games to whatever.

Last but not least, I'd really appreciate some referrals on good music theory learning apps, ear training, learning piano, etc.

There's an app called caustic that is fun to mess around with. Should be able to find it in the android market.

I realized after messing with apps like that, that in the end they are very nice for single instruments that you can add to a existing beat on your favorite daw on your computer but in the end i think making beats with em is maybe to time consuming and limited. Even if they are a lot of fun :D

I tried a lot of the apps suggested. I like supreme mpa so far. I like the mpc like interface. Are there other programs like that available? I like that it can use the mp3s on your phone and has a sample editor and such. I would also like to find something that has a fully featured version. Non beta.

Any more suggestions?
yep...that's me.

In addition to the LG and Motorola Android phones I used on that album, I just copped a Nook Color running CM7 for only $100 off craigslist. (for real!)

It might take a little Android know-how to get running but the Nook is the best deal going on an Android tablet...super cheap, powerful enough to get stuff done, and the 7" is the perfect portable size.

Currently for making beats I'm mainly working with: Electrum, G-Stomper, Nanoloop, and Caustic.

In my opinion Uloops, and Su-Preme MPA are not that usable in their current form.

I'm still on the fence about SPC - Music Sketchpad. It seems to be clip based like Ableton, but I haven't spent enough time to test how flexible it really is.

If you guys have any questions just hit me up.
