Help: Synch ASR-10 & MPC4000

i've done nothing but read and watch videos of the MPC4000 since i got it. However i would like to still use my ASR-10 as my main sampler.

Can somebody please give me a break down on how im suppose to synch These Up together. I can not figure it out for the life of me!

I've read some things online about synch with an MPC60 but it doesnt seem to help with dealing with the 4000. If somebody could give me a break down on what i should do with both machines it would be Deeply Appreciated.

maybe i have the wrong idea in general. What i want to do is Sample into my ASR-10 cut up the samples then send it into my MPC4000 and sequence the samples with the drums in there. is that possible? please help if you can Thanks in advance.

It's only possible if you sample what u chopped on the asr10 into the mpc otherwise u need a MIDI cable to control the asr10 sounds from the mpc.
