Digi 003 Won't recognize inputs 5-8?? Help pleaaase

I just opened a new session in PT9 just like always. I set I/O to my saved settings, and when I tried to set my input to input 7 it said it was unavailable...

It's never happened before, and I can't even create a new input for it....

Any help would be fantastic...

Thank you in advance for your time/effort

To add some info:
I set I/O to default and the ins 5+ were blacked out. When selected it gave me an error stating the path is inactive. Right clicked to make active and it errored saying path not valid...

Help? Thx again!

Try going to the I/O screen and on the bottom part of the screen there should be a Default button, click that for both the Input and Output tabs. Not sure if this will work in this case but it's worth a try.

Any chance you got them inputs set to either bypass/not bypass the pre's and that's causing the problem? Also check your +4 you could just be recording in really low volume.

I bet it's something with the 5-8 pre bypass though, probably used to have them bypassed, and now you don't and the trim is low or something.

Hope that helps.
