i'd be surprised if the bassline was a recognizable phrase - sounds chopped and could be anything imo

almost sounds like the same one used in 'Lick A Shot' by Cypress Hill? the Cypress one is a LOT dirtier/muffled though.

[EDIT] here's the source for that one (@ 0:34):



definitely that same vibe, but it sounds pitched down and maybe augmented by a synth bass? this has me curious, i'm going to sample it later and see if i can recreate it from that. great tune.


who knows, could be from any one of those old jazz records.
