Did DJ Premier produce any beat where there was a clap used?

...not clap layered with a snare...but a clap like a clap "alone" ;-)
I'm just sitting with Marton (Hungarian friend) and we're listening to Premier's beats and can't find ANY with a clap alone...Help Slutz! We're going insane!!! Aaaaaaa.

Thank you kindly.

nothing special about this clap imo.. plus I would have given it 1-2 db more level in the mix...

There aren't that many drum breaks that include an open clap like the one Premier used for that song. Thus, if you're using breaks for drums, not much likelihood of ending up with a free clap.

I prefer this to 50 Cent's like claps...not saying 50's aren't good. Anyway

Yes longbongsilver - to be honest I didn't think about it before...

it's part of the break so there's no leveling those.

Considering this is a fairly old track, I agree with that. Could be fixed in a jiffy nowadays...

My drums use nothing but break beats and I have a good amount of claps. I know Preemo has Car Wash. That has a bunch of claps in the intro.

i'd say there def is a clap underneath the snare, but yeah the snare is dominant.
