Tracking out Mpc 2500 FX

When i put the FX on the pad its there but when i go to track it out it ishuts off.....Also when i put an effect on a sample i cant save the new sounding sample in the MPC....anyone have this problem b4?

How are you recording into your DAW?

I'll make the beat in the MPC, solo each track and record it into PT via stereo outs, and if I added any FX (compression or reverb or whatever) they're always there.

ohh ok...im using the 8 outs though...is it possible that way?

Could be. I never used the individual outs... I've always used the main outs (also heard rumors the main outs sound better anyway).
Give using the stereo outs a whirl and see if the FX translate over.

From memory the FX can only be routed to the master outs unlike the 2000xl which can have the FX routed to any of the stereo pairs.

To track with FX you will need to route the fx'ed samples to the master outs.
