loading rex files in anything other than reason?

Does anyone know of anything that will load a rex file aside from the Dr. rex player?

I am trying to get my rex files into another program. I am having trouble finding something that will read them.

Cubase will also read them. And Kontakt too, I believe.
And also loads of other software I'd think.
The question is what software you have at your disposal or how much you are willing to pay for
and for what exact purpose you need the rex-compatible application.

Do you know what instrument or sampler loads them? I can try at my friends'. I have been interested in ableton but I'd want to make sure it loads rex files before buying.

I'm looking to trigger the slices with an MPD32 in a program other than Reason

money is some-what limited. $500 or under would be ideal. thumbsup

Here's something to try:
Export from recycle to an Akai S5000 via aksys.
Import the Rex's midi that was exported as well into a sequencer.
record chain to taste...guitar amp, DI/micpre-comp, leslie and mics, etc...

PriceWrite I hate to inform you but GURU works well with Rex as well.
Make sure you have the loops tab on in the browser.
Select a file. It's a piece of cake.
