Funny thing is this is one of the few HipHop forums with people of real stature posting regularly but they seem to get attacked more than any of the U-tube/Soundclick producers on other forums.
Who knows one day it may stop.
Thanks AZ..its not an "attitude" its just that I really like to help people but when they come off as hard headed "know it alls", thats when I let it loose.

I really love what Ive been doing all these years and have had some really great mentors along the way and have been blessed to somehow be at the right place at the right time at a time when a very young dude like myself got taken under the wings of musical soul angels and then the tech bug bit me along with the soul bug which was always there and I just happened to play the guitar and somehow wound up playing on countless sessions which(thank you Jesus) became classics..then writing, producing, arranging,engineering..all by the grace of God.

Along the way Ive had some really decent sample clearences..Chris Brown,Shaggy,..songs being recorded by people like Luther V..its doesnt get any better than that.

I also had thing for medicine and forensic science, but my folks couldnt send me to college, so the soul college beckoned and well...here we are in '08!!

That's funny because it was George that was a big inspiration to me in music. I lived in Tallahassee, FL where his studio is located off of Apalachee Parkway. That was the first studio I had ever been in and I got a chance to meet and greet with George. Ever since then I've been on quest to be the best in music.

Let's just say that people have a tendacy to stick with certain "call signs" wherever they go...heh (especially us musical types)

Knowing this when you do search can narrow things down quite a bit.

I didn't have the $2500 to waste, but I been in the same boat since they announced the MF...
...I was expecting an improvement on the 4000...lol...

https://www.gearslutz.com/board/rap-h...pc-5000-a.html

I really hope Just works with Akai slo and pulls em out the mud.

1. PGM compatability with all MPC series PGM drum & Keygroup.
2. Streaming Keygroup auditioning (this was promised on the 4000)
3. Polyphony[[email protected]] & RAM[expandable] to handle all those keygroups
4. Realtime timestretch on several sample tracks
5. 9 Banks, 1 Soft Bank button(hold+press 1-9)
6. 24 bit, 192 Khz high quality Recording/Sampling
7. Fully integratable Q-Link controls
8. Realtime chop & assign (alpha chop shop)
9. AkSys improved & expanded + USB2.0
10. Expanded sequence edit & song mode including linear sequence recording.
11. Ability to extend sequences tick by tick
12. MIDI chords assignable per pad

what i dont understand is why doesnt akai get a man like blaze to work for them test their stuff out before they send a product out there.
u cant expect a man who works on these machines to know what a beatmaker like blaze wants in a machine and what he expects. all these issues could have been fixed if they had blaze on their team. remind me if i ever need some product testing to contact justin lol he will tear it apart for u.
cant we get him to join the forum as product specialist or something? haha would be cool

Probably because their target market does NOT consist of established professionals (like Just Blaze) but instead regular "joe" pro-sumers who want to BE like Just Blaze.

In other words, marketing hype takes precedence over functionality.
