Sysex Question

I have been using keyboards for about 10 years....but today I finally made my first successful sysex dump. And It's just as wonderful as I could have ever imagined. I can change the sounds whenever I want to, and I've got tons of them. So here's what I need to know. Since a sysex dump is just a midi dump to my sound module (a Korg M3R) ,would it be possible to also use syx files from other keyboards from the same period like the M1, Wavestation or 0/1w)
Could I do a sysex dump into my M3R with files from a M1? If Thanks, any help is very much appreciated.

probably not....sysex = system unless korg made the m3 backwards patch compatible with their older stuff(like how NI's FM7 can take a yamaha DX7 dump), its not going to'll need to consult your manual or maybe fire a message off to korg
