Battery like software? help!

Hey

So i've been looking for software like battery

drag and drop sampler
opens exs and rex
and has a waveform editor

so why not just use battery?
been really buggy and i'm having a problem loading exs, it's says files are missing

having a look at guru but doesn't load exs and i have a bunch of kits/sounds in exs format

unless someone knows of a exs to battery format converter

any ideas

I've been a Battery user myself but have heard nothing but praise for GURU....So much that I have been considering picking it up and [seriously] trying it on for size...

i have nothing but problems with translator(the free version)...it always crashes/hangs...does registering it fix all those problems or is it just broken software? im running it on a p4 with a gig of memory running XP sp2.
