Sound enhancincing gear

Hi Guyz

I am sample (mainly own sample) based hip hop beatmaker.
I have always been doing all the arranging sequencing and beatmaking part on mine MPC 2000XL.
Only mixing was left for the PC.
A while ago I've bought Akai Advance. Mainly for melodies.
Now I've done an experiment. A beat done fully in the box. With Akai Advance as a MIDI controller.
I am happy with results and no longer see the point of me having the MPC.

Besides the AKAIs I have the TL Audio tube compressor, Yamaha mixing desk (no eq included), and Numark stuff for scratching.

I think about sellind MPC.
Here I need your advice.
I am to vintage sound flava.
I would like to but something for the money I will acquire something that will let enhance my mix to sound still analogish if you know what I mean.
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.

Cheers
K

P.s.
Maybe to say sound shaping/scoulpting would be more appropriate

how about some tape?
maybe even a space echo 201 so you can get some tape sound and nice delays for sounddesign and -variations

Elektron Analog Heat may be what you are looking for. It can operate using line in/out or as a send as a plugin via overbridge on usb.
