Snare sound design question

i'm trying to get a snare that sounds something like this, but I'm not sure if the snare is layered with a clap or has a ton or reverb on it but I'm unable to recreate it for reasons unknown (you can hear my attempt on the snare below). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA4ewBdKwl8

any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Pitch down and shorten the decay IMO and you are pretty close

for one thing, that snare is from a break (yours sounds like it's from a drum machine), and it also sounds like it's layered with that super-ancient snare/clap sound from the mpc60(?)—i don't know what people call it, but i've seen a thread here about it, going back years.
