Please help me understand Maschine termonolgy...

I'm trying to quickly learn Maschine and I figured if I can obtain a translation of the terms from the MPC to Maschine then I can get to making beats...

MPC Program = Maschine

MPC Sequence = Maschine

MPC Track = Maschine

Track: pad bank (a-l)
Sequence : pattern
Program : works differently. Any pad in a pad bank can be a sample, instrument, or plugin instrument.

Samples assigned to pads can be fully chopped inside the one pad and “exploded” to sequence chops.

Sorry if I’m not explaining it well.

How does the MPC way of working differ from Maschine's?

Maschine's made total sense to me coming from DAWs, as it's akin to using 16 track groups, and it's sequencer is like the arranger found in various DAWs. Also its ideas view is like Ableton Live's session view, so coming from using Cubase and Live everything was pretty familiar.

I've never been able to get my head around the MPC workflow though. I even tried to find a basic video outlining it on YT but couldn't find anything. (I may not have looked very hard though!)

Can anyone give a brief outline on how it's different from the norm?
