Anyone Suggest an AIFF to MP3 Converter for OSX?

I'm wondering if there is a professional application for OS X that will allow me to convert files to MP3 with the best possible conversion process. Being able to tag ISRC is a bonus since I am using this application to prepare files for sale.

I know I can use iTunes. I know I can save my songs as MP3 from within Digital Performer. On and on. But I was wondering if there is one single pro application that online retailers of digital downloads are using to prepare their incoming AIFs for sale on the web?

Thanks in advanced.

do you know how it "switches" to mp3? i finally found some info that beatport uses LAME... and since this seems to be the best codec around, i would like to use LAME in my file conversion process...

I can tell you that as far as DAW's Logic's way of making a MP3 is about the cleanest that I've heard, it's better than Peak, PT, Itunes, Audacity, didn't try DP.

I tested it against Samplitude and Wavelab and Cubase on the PC and Logic was a better quality MP3.
