Slipperman,
I am reading while working so I may have missed something but let me ask...

In your thread about micing guitars for metal, you talk about the 2 points at which the speakers come alive and then when the cab is activated. What I didn't see was what are you shooting for once you know this? Is it trial and error from the two places or could it typically lean towads one or the other?

The info on that thread was sweet.
