Dry Vocals and Drums. Tips and Pointers.

Hi, Sylvia!

I notice more and more clients in harder styles of music like metal, rock and punk lately have been asking for dry mixes again. I often find it difficult to get vocals and snare in particular to sit well without some audible room or reverb added.

I really love the way you have made dry vocals sit, in particular certain System Of A Down tracks.

Are there any quick tips you could provide me to appease the masses?

Thanks!
