Lightbulb Take out the "musician's mojo" during recording sessions

Hello Sylvia I'm super fan of your work, thank you for beeing here

I'm very interested on the "production side" when you meet a new band to work for... how do you aproach to take out the "musician's mojo" and get a nice take?

could you tell us what techniques do you usually use to get the musicians inside the recording, forget everything else and sing or play with the most "mojo" ever?

I usually have problems with clients 'cause when they hit the studio they try to be clinical clean and they forget to play with anger!!

Thank you so much for your time
