Palm-muted guitar in "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You"

Alan,
I'm a fan of Alan Parsons Project and your work on "Dark Side of the Moon". It's great to have you here! One of my favorite Alan Parson's songs is "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You". The palm-muted guitar in that song sounds distinctive, yet somewhat similar to certain Pink Floyd songs. I was wondering what you could tell me about recording that guitar in "I Wouldn't Want to Be Like You", and how it might compare to certain Pink Floyd songs.

The similarity lies in the use of printed tape echo - usually dotted eighths - or triplet. There's a section dedicated to it in the Delays section of my Art And Science project. Sorry for the unashamed plug.
