Multi-Timbral Progress

During several interviews and in product specifications it has been mentioned that the Super-6 is capable of multi-timbral operation, but that it won’t be enabled on day one. Can you provide any additional insight into what the feature will look like when it does make an appearance?

Yes the 'engine' is multitimbral, mainly so that polyphonic expression (velocity, note to note fluctuation) can be properly expressed. This becomes very relevant for MPE controllers, where you want to adjust multiple parameters independently for each voice played. Many analog/hybrid synths have only a reduced subset of parameters that can be adjusted individually for each voice.

The Super 6 can in theory have a different patch for each of the 6 voice pairs. Therefore in future it is not unfeasible we can release an editor for DAW's that allows to unlock this power. We can't commit to a date, but it is something I personally would like to see implemented.

About multi-timbrality...
On the Thomann site they indicate Split=Yes.
Is this correct? Can the keyboard be split even in mono-timbral mode? If yes, what can be adjusted on the different sides of the split?

Bi or tri-timbral would be very nice.
Would allow making (even more) complex sounds with 2 layers and (if tri-) run a sequence using a 3rd timbre.
12 voices = 4+4+4 or 5+5+2 or 6+6
