Introduction to UDO plus some information!

So, here's a Q&A with George Hearn, the designer, lead developer of the UDO Audio team responsible for the Super 6 synthesizer. Below you find a short introduction and some information about them.

Quote:
UDO is a new synthesizer company based In Bristol, UK. We are a collaboration of engineers, designers and musicians dedicated to making powerful and accessible instruments. Their first instrument is The Super 6, the brainchild of George Hearn.

George has been involved in music production for 20 years and as a technology consultant with Hearn Morley for 10 years. George entered the music technology industry in 2008 producing synthesizer chips for the synth DIY community, OEMs and vintage chip replacements. Hearn Morley has produced bespoke synthesizers and licensed voice architecture to other manufacturers. In 2018 George decided the time was right to start UDO and began work on the Super 6.

And (in case you're not familiar with it) here's a short introduction they provided of the Super 6:
Quote:
The Super 6 is a 12-voice polyphonic, binaural analog-hybrid synthesizer. It features our state of the art FPGA digital hardware oscillators coupled with analogue filters and VCA's.* It's unique super-wavetable core and can be shaped and manipulated with the binaural analog signal path and flexible modulation. Designed to be intuitive, expressive and fun to play with the emphasis on performance via the immediacy of its simple UI and chunky controls. With a real focus on build quality paired with mechanical design by Axel Hartmann, it both sounds and feels fantastic - we've been thrilled with the response so far!

Then, last but not least, there's a little giveaway. No, it's not a Super 6, but a unique print, framed and signed to hang on your studio wall.
This will be given away to one of the contributors, we do a draw so everyone who posted an approved thread, has an equal chance.

Allright. I think that's about it. This is the chance to post questions directly about this amazing synth and it's development.
Let's have some fun!!
