The Spiritual Nature of Sound

Hi Mr Roach
While obsessed with high end gear, your music transcends gear for me. Your work is an amazing spiritual experience for me, the basis of many an inward journey. With patience, there is an entire world within many of your stories. Especially Shadow of Time, where you have given yourself the space take us on a longer journey.

My question, do you find that you are tapping into something more internal or external in your inspiration? How often do you find yourself starting over and rewriting an entire piece? Or do you tap into to something and let it flow?

Creative Flow

Hello Steve,

Thank you for doing this Q&A my question to you is.
Through the years you have been recording and releasing well over 100 albums. How do you stay creative in the studio and not burn yourself out? Do you find it difficult to be fresh and new, as to to not repeat yourself?
