Tips for delivering tracks for mastering?

Hey Rob,

what would be tips you would give for people submitting their mix downs for mastering?

so it's this:
- WAV or AIFF files ZIPPED
- minimum 44 kHz, 24 bit!
- No compression and limiter on the master bus!
- leave headroom.. bounce till -6dB to -3dB peak max.

i don't think i know a single professional, major, mix engineer who isn't mixing with a compressor on the stereo mix; and delivering the finished mix that way

a limiter to make things LOUDER is another story
