Hi Gordon. Stone Roses fan here.

Could you tell us, of your recording Ian Brown?
For example, did he stay on a 58, like on the debut album?
Or was he switched to another vocal mic(s)?

Curious also on further info on vocal chain(s)...

I wrote a whole chapter about meeting and recording Ian Brown, so I don't wanna give away everything. I will say that I recorded him on an sm57, through a prototype of Avalon 737sp. AND I will disclose it was a demo for a song he would record with the band 808 State! He was a one take wonder, i will also let u know that!
