Analog feel versus digital sound

Hey Scott,
I think we´re all very grateful to have you here and for the opportunity to read about your experiences.

I wrote so much interesting facts about the techniques you use. But I like to ask you the fundamental question about preferring analog or digital equipment because I´m under the impression that you´re not a "gear nut".

Thank you for the music and all the best!

Hi Andreas, Firstly, it's Ken or Mr Scott, not Scott, just to set the record straight.

As far as digi vs analog. They both have their uses. Analog sound is warmer, as far as I'm concerned, but there are ways one can manipulate the recorded material digitally that are amazing. Why does it always have to be one or the other. They work, or at least can work, perfectly well together.
