Favourite synths

Hi Paul, been fan of yours since "Who Can You Trust" )

The question is simple: which are you favourite polyphonic/monophonic synths?
How do you chose which one to use in the song?

Best,
Sergii

Thanks Sergii!

I like so many synths it’s hard to name them. Polyphonic I’m really happy with the Moog One and the Novation Peak.
Monophonic I like the classics like Moog, TVS, Buchla Easel, 2600 but lots of new ones too like the Dominion and the Eurorack modules.

When I used to have vintage synths the ones we used in songs were the ones that worked. Now with lots of great modern stuff it’s fun to experiment and see what happens.....

Speaking of which Paul, are there any soft synths that, in your experience, possess the same degree of heft/beefiness of hardware synths?

Thanks.
