Hi Alan! - A Huge Thank You and a Question!; Without You, I Wouldn't Be Doing This!

Hi Alan,

I'd just like to start by thanking you so much for doing this

What would be your best advice for someone as young and naive as me in the world of sound recording? I try to listen to as much music as I possibly can across as many genre's as possible and I'm always reading and researching trying to find new ways of achieving certain sounds.

On 'Eye in the Sky' How did you achieve such a lush orchestral sound in the middle of 'Silence & I', it is absolutely mesmerizing, it bring a lump to my throat at every listen and last but not least, if you could work with any living or deceased artist who you haven't already worked with, who would it be?

Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully reply!

Love Jamie x

Too general a question - I am sure if you follow this Q & A you'll get something out of me that applies to you.

The S & I orchestra was an 85-piece - a rare size in rock. Enough said?
