Roxy Music "Manifesto"

Hello Phil: Thanks for taking questions here! Would you mind talking about these sessions? I was an intern at a studio where Rhett Davies did a record. A very nice low-key guy. What were the early drum machines/rhythm boxes used? Is Bryan Ferry easy to record? Thank-you.

There's a chapter on recording Manifesto in Are We Still Rolling? I never found Bryan particularly easy to work with. I may have to get back to you on the drum machine.....

Roland Drum machine (possible nick-named "the Cube" but deffinately a Roland.
Band tracks recorded live in a semi-circle in a barn in Surrey (became Ridge Farm). Recorded through
an MCI desk to an MCI 24 track machine.
