New Album Origin Of Storms and Older Unreleased Tracks

David, how will the new upcoming album The Origin of Storms differ from Sactum ? The first snippets do sound different.

Will we ever see some of your harder to find tracks and unreleased tracks available ?

Hi there
Yes it's very different I think. Less "produced" and more like a stream of consciousness. I wanted to do something 100% electronic inspired by my love of artists like Conrad Schnitzler, Froese etc and also to limit myself with gear somewhat, simply to focus on a few synths mainly
There is really a practical reason for this. My studio was in a mess after having rearranged he room somewhat but not finished, so I hooked up what I needed to work with and worked. It was quite liberating to focus on a few synths and to stay within some self defined boundaries though.
I used mainly the Fenix modular, Kilpatrick Phenol and Waldorf XTk.
Most of my earlier music is still owned by R&S, which is frustrating. I would love to release a CD/Vinyl of my favorite pieces, probably remastered, but it would require negotiations etc..I should do it though..

The CD/download of Origin of Storms is coming out but the Vinyl has been released btw..

Thanks for the question!
Cheers
David

Please disregard my other followup if possible.

I think you have talked me into a Phenol! Did you use the Modor also ?

I do hope you do that with R&S.

Will be watching for the download of the new album

All the best David.

Hi there
I didn't use the Modor. A great sounding synth but not one I could justify for me.
The Phenol really is a great synth with it's one thing. It make me want a kilpatrick modular
Thanks! I'd love to have control of my back catalogue.
Cheers
