This sounds impressive.
What is a good setup for someone who writes orchestral music (full symphony orchestra) and needs all the instruments in separate groups (no combined cello/violin patches, no voices sampled in octaves etc).
Does the Sable library already offer this, or is a combination of Sable and Albion needed... or something else?
Will it work well when using eg Logic/Cubase or another DAW, or Sibelius/Finale, on one computer only?
The best setup for this is the BML series. So - Sable strings being our first releases, with Horns vol 1 coming shortly, and so on. We are releasing these in modular form but by the end you'll have the complete orchestra in superb quality and detail. You will be fine with one computer, I'd get as much RAM as possible, but the libraries are scaleable so you can just load the Tree mics for example, so save on RAM, and also even reduce the number of RRs down easily on the front panel to reduce RAM that way. Works great on my laptop!
Thanks for the info!
When will the still missing symphonic instruments (in the Sable library, other than Horns 1) be commercially available?
And - how will this library work with Finale or other programs which are 32-bit only?
